United Racing Design ("URD", "we", "us") operates the website unitedracingdesign.com and sells 3D car mods and liveries for racing simulators. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, the email communications we send, and the rights you have over your data. We collect: (a) your email address and name when you create an account, place an order or subscribe to our newsletter; (b) order and payment details when you purchase a product (payments are processed by PayPal — we do not store card numbers); and (c) basic technical data such as IP address and browser type for security and analytics.
We use your data to deliver the products you purchase, provide customer support, send transactional emails (order confirmations, download links, account and security notices), and — only if you have opted in — send marketing emails about new releases, offers and updates.
Transactional emails (order confirmations, download links, account notices and product-update notifications) are sent because they are necessary to fulfil your purchase or manage your account, and are sent regardless of any marketing preference. We send marketing emails to two groups: (a) people who explicitly subscribed to our newsletter on our website, and (b) existing customers, about our products, new releases and updates. You can opt out of marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link included in those emails, and we honour opt-outs immediately. We never buy, rent or share email lists, and we do not send unsolicited email. All email is sent through Amazon SES, with DKIM signing and bounce/complaint monitoring.
Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer and a List-Unsubscribe header, so you can opt out instantly. Once you unsubscribe you will receive no further marketing emails, although you may still receive transactional emails relating to purchases you make. You can also email info@unitedracingdesign.com to be removed. Addresses that produce a hard bounce or a spam complaint are automatically suppressed and never contacted again.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the site: Amazon Web Services (hosting and email delivery, in the EU eu-west-3 region) and PayPal (payment processing). These providers act as data processors under appropriate agreements.
We keep account and order data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide support and comply with legal obligations. Newsletter subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe. Suppressed addresses are retained solely to ensure we do not contact you again.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. To exercise these rights, email info@unitedracingdesign.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
