What cookies are

Cookies, and similar technologies such as the browser's local storage, are small files that a website stores on your device to remember information from one visit to the next.

The ones that don't need your permission

They only keep what is essential for the website to work as you ask it to, and the law exempts them from consent (article 22.2 LSSI-CE). They are first-party:

• urd_cookie_consent (local storage, until you delete it): your answer in the cookie banner, so you are not asked again on every page. You can change it below.
• urd_auth_tokens (local storage) and the urd-auth-token cookie (one day): your session, only if you sign in to your account or to the admin panel. They are deleted when you sign out.
• The admin panel's preferences (its tables' columns and searches) and when «Publish» was last pressed (urd_publish_started), in local storage: only in the browser of whoever runs the website.

The affiliate programme

Only if you reach the website from an affiliate's link (with ?ref=): the affiliateCode cookie (60 days) keeps their code, to credit them with the purchase, and local storage keeps affiliate_visitor_id, a random identifier of the visit, and affiliate_modal_shown_<code>, so their notice is not shown to you again.

Analytics, only if you accept them

They belong to Google Analytics, from Google Ireland Limited. Until you accept them in the cookie banner, the website loads nothing from Google. If you accept, it loads its script (gtag.js), which sets on this domain:

• _ga (2 years): tells one visitor from another with a random identifier, to count visits.
• _ga_CHYGQ90XNM (2 years): keeps the state of your visit.

Third-party cookies

If you pay with PayPal, the payment happens in its windows and PayPal uses its own cookies, under its cookie policy. The Sellfy store, Discord and the social media the website links to use their own when you visit them.

Changing or withdrawing your consent

You can change your choice at any time with this button, which shows the cookie banner again. If you decline analytics after having accepted, the website deletes Google's cookies on this domain.

How to manage them in your browser

You can view, block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser's settings. Without the technical ones you won't be able to sign in.
